About our floor sanding
We take all the hassle and mess out of restoring your beautiful wooden floor back to its former glory. We specialise in all sanding and finishing of wood flooring, including Parquet, solid wood, and engineered wood.
It may be tempting to hire a cheap machine and do a bit of DIY, however in reality these machines are often not properly connected to vacuums causing clouds of dust, they are unbalanced and can take large chunks out of your floor, leave burns marks and ripping the sanding sheets on old nails meaning you spend far more time and money than you originally planned. Without training it’s extremely hard to complete one room within a day.
We will use the best Bona and Lagler floor sanding machines, which are virtually dust-free, leaving the rest of your home undisturbed.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a lot of mess while having our floor sanded?
We try our best to keep the dust to a minimum by using Lagler sanding machines, these contain up to 98% of the dust. We also clean and vacuum after every process.
How long until I am able to put furniture back in the room?
This all depends on what finish you choose. Oil would need 24hrs, and water based lacquer is around 12hrs.
Is the varnish you use environmentally friendly?
Osmo Floor Oil contains natural vegetable oils, linseed oil, sunflower, soybean and thistle oil. Bona is a water based lacquer that is Green Guard certified for air quality, which is why we use this in your home or business.
